This instructable demonstrates and explains a number of different sculptures I designed that animate when they are spun and lit by a strobe light (or are captured by a video camera with a very fast shutter speed). Let's look at a few examples:

Wanderers is a vision of humanity's expansion into the Solar System, based on scientific ideas and concepts of what our future in space might look like, if it ever happens. The locations depicted in the film are digital recreations of actual places in the Solar System, built from real photos and map data where available.
I bet you can't draw em better.

The DPRK 360 project is an independent project by Singaporean photographer Aram Pam that aims to showcase the many aspects of DPRK (a.k.a. North Korea) through photography. All attempts will be made so as not address any past, present or future political issues that may be sensitive. The purpose of this project is to encourage understanding of the country and uncover the mysteries that lay hidden. Through better understanding, fear can be removed and friendships can be made.
Aside from the 360 degree panoramic images, the site also contains numerous photos and videos taken in the course of the photographer's travels.
A little additional info via an interview with the photographer can be found here

Turning a random scribble into a drawing.
I find clockwork completely fascinating, and workmanship at this level of scale and quality is just mind blowing, my jaw was dropped in awe during this video, that shows the creation of a Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime watch, of which I feel like one copy should be installed into a museum of human achivement somewhere amazing.
