Sal's Excess Skin Removal

My name is Sal. In early 2014 I started the fight of my life. I had a starting weight of 688+ Lbs. I am proud to report that I currently weigh-in at 252.8 Lbs., and have lost a grand total of 435.2 Lbs (Updated 08/26/17). Even through all this hard work, a new issue arises, the excess skin. It's estimated by my medical team that I have between 65-80 pounds of it. No amount of exercise will remove this excess skin. It’s to a point where it must be surgically removed. My excess skin is impeding my range of motion and mobility. It gets easily irritated and painful from moving around. The trapped moisture in the skin folds gets easily infected and requires medical treatment. The excess skin interferes with my workouts and swim routine. This issue has made me very self-conscious about how I look and feel. That's a new reality I am faced with, as self-consciousness is not something I am very familiar with. The excess skin doesn't allow my clothing to fit properly, and it interferes in everything I do. After all this hard work, and still some on the horizon, a wrinkling shell of who I once was now plagues me. There are nights I've cried myself to sleep with worry about how I can address this because I don’t have the financial means.
I know the funds being asked for are a lot. I would be unbelievably grateful for any assistance you all could provide. The funds would be used for several skin surgeries to address the various parts of my body. Your contributions will assist me in finishing off my weight loss journey, and helping me get to a point where I can strive to reach my full potential. I appreciate your generosity and support!!
